Hold on to your hats, MINI Miami fans, we are in for an early treat! The next member of the MINI family, the Roadster, has been revealed before its proposed time. This sexy, topless MINI had a debut scheduled for January at the Detroit Auto Show, but I guess the MINI group couldn't contain themselves, so they gave Miami a few early glamour shots.

Originally shown off as a concept in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the Roadster has gone through some refinements for mass consumption. The Roadster is a two-seat convertible with a choice of four-cylinder engines, including the standard Cooper 1.6 liter, the turbo in the Cooper S and the powerful 208HP one in the John Cooper Works model. Transmissions will include a 6-speed manual and automatic, as always.
